Can I watermark a video for client review?

Yes. DLVRD can apply a visual watermark overlay to the media in a gallery, which is the standard way to protect drafts during client review.

A watermark does two jobs. It signals clearly that the cut is a work in progress, which reduces the risk of a client circulating the wrong version. And it makes any leaked copy traceable and unusable for publication.

On DLVRD, watermarking is a gallery setting. When you turn it on, downloads are switched off automatically, so the client can only stream the watermarked preview and cannot pull a clean file. That single toggle covers the most common review-security mistake.

Once the film is approved, turn the watermark off, re-enable downloads, and the same gallery becomes the final delivery with untouched originals available to the client.
