How do I password protect a video?

To password protect a video for a client, upload it to a delivery platform that supports gallery passwords, switch protection on for that gallery, and send the client the link and the password separately.

This is the simplest effective control for private work. Unlisted or "anyone with the link" sharing relies on the link never being forwarded, which it will be. A password means a forwarded link is useless on its own. It is the right default for weddings, unreleased commercial campaigns, corporate internals, and anything under NDA.

On DLVRD, password protection is a per-gallery setting. Turn it on, choose the password, and the client is prompted for it before the gallery loads. Clients still do not need an account, so the experience stays frictionless.

For sensitive drafts you can layer controls: password plus watermark (which also disables downloads) plus an expiry date, so the review link stops working when the round is over.
