What is The Vault?

The Vault is DLVRD's archive storage tier for finished work. After you have delivered a project, you can move its media out of your active storage and into The Vault, where it is kept safely for the long term at a much lower cost.

DLVRD separates storage into two tiers for a reason. Active storage is fast and built for delivery: current galleries, clients streaming and downloading. The Vault is built for keeping: projects that are finished, delivered and unlikely to be viewed again soon, but which you do not want to lose.

Vault storage is purchased as one-time capacity at $99 per terabyte and is available to paying subscribers. It is an archive, not a live tier: files in The Vault are not streamed in galleries, and restoring media back to active storage takes up to about 48 hours.

For example, if you delivered a wedding last year and the couple has not opened the gallery in six months, move it to The Vault. Your active storage is free for new work and the film is still retrievable if they come back.
