How long should I keep client videos online?
Keep client videos online for at least 30 to 90 days after delivery, state that window in your contract, and then move the project to archive storage rather than deleting it.

Clients rarely download everything on day one. Couples come back for the highlight film months later. Agencies ask for the master again when a campaign is refreshed. A short window creates support emails; an indefinite window fills up expensive active storage with files nobody is watching.
A sensible policy looks like this: galleries stay live for a defined period, say 90 days, which is written into your terms. After that, the files move to cold archive, where they are cheap to keep but still retrievable if a client returns. Anything a client wants beyond the window can be restored, optionally for a fee.
DLVRD galleries do not expire unless you set an expiry date, so you control the window. When a project is done, move it to The Vault, our archive tier, to free up active storage while keeping the deliverables safe.
