Do clients need to create an account to view or download their video?

No. Clients never need to create an account to view, comment on, or download from a DLVRD gallery. Anyone with the link, and the password if you have set one, can open it in a browser and watch immediately.

Forced sign-ups are one of the biggest friction points in client delivery. A couple's grandparents, a marketing director's boss, a real estate agent's seller: none of them should have to register for a service to watch a film they were sent.

Removing the account step also protects the delivery experience you have designed. The client sees your gallery, your branding and your film, not a third-party onboarding flow.

Security still holds. You decide whether a gallery is public, password protected, or set to expire, and you can see when files are downloaded.
